APPEARANCE: Cosima is a vision, if one is inclined towards the Ice Princess look. Appearing to be in her late twenties, her ivory blonde hair is styled to reflect the latest trends popular on the red carpet, though always long. She has big, piercing blue eyes framed with thick, sooty lashes, a pert nose and full, soft lips. Her skin is classically pale but for a lovely rose hue on her elegant cheeks, a look made popular by many plagues. She is 5'8" and possesses an enviable hourglass figure without the aid of corsetry, though she does have a fondness for it.
HISTORY: A native of Italy, Cosima spent six years in ghouled service to her sire Winifred Dufraine, an influential Toreador throughout Italy. However, upon embrace, Winny’s affections proved to be traditionally fickle and it was not long before the woman’s attention was diverted from her lovely childe. For three more years Cosima subjected herself to the humiliation of constantly being cast aside for the next pretty thing. There were moments when Winny let her girl shine, when she knew that she must make the perfect impression. In these cases, Cosima was her prize. The grand stone in her social tiara. But, like many with a toreador’s heart, Cosima had become resentful and secretly vicious.
With the help of her ambitious, American friend, William Johnson, the young vampire was able to convince the prince of Ravenna that the property where Cosima shared a haven with Winny was, by rights, Cosima's alone. A month later, Winifred returned to Ravenna to discover the haven burnt to the ground, her ghouls scattered to the four winds and a city of vampires giggling at her behind their alabaster hands.
Cosima had astutely left the city with William. The pair traveled together for a time before parting ways in Venice. Cosima made herself comfortable there opening a small theater for aspiring playwrights. She comes from old money and has a head for business. Her investments are well managed and worldwide.
INTENT: Recently, Cosima had attempted to embrace a lovely young writer in her employ called Elias. But, something went terribly wrong, the boy did not survive. In true diva fashion, Cosima has been mourning dramatically ever since. In an attempt to lure his friend from her morbid fixation, a dangerous state for any kindred, William has invited Cosima to join him in New Orleans. She has grudgingly agreed.

Winifred is pissed. Cosima’s sire has made it quite clear she considers the girl below her notice, so much so that public retribution would not do her any favors. But, if she were to find a way to strike that would not get back to the elders in Italy, Winifred would very likely take the chance.
Cosima is not aware that Elias’ death was due to a flaw in her own blood, so she may try to embrace again.
